In Ukraine a week before Lent, called “syropusnyy” (means “cottage-cheese – less”). During this week people had a nice opportunity to eat their fill of cottage cheese.

Meat was forbidden to take, but allowed to eat fish and dairy products. Ban of meat food was a punishment for those who are not married, but redeemed this peccadillo everybody.

A week before Lent was painted by day: Monday – meeting, Tuesday – flirting, Wednesday – sweets on a table, Thursday – banquet, Friday – mother-in-law’s party, Saturday – all-night parties, Sunday – the seeing off a holiday.

Arrange the entertainment:

• action “Winter, get out!”
• burning “Winter’s scarecrow”
• by ancient tradition – tasting pancakes
• organize the rite of “kolodky”

Also we will arrange you an unforgettable cognitive excursion:

• you will be meted by real traditional family weared in folk clothes with bread & salt and didukhs
• you’ll have an opportunity to see a during barn, where you will be teached how to grind flour on the 100 years old millstones
• will peep to the smithy, where smith already blows up the furs and makes burning hot duty piece of iron
• will tell about ancient traditions of process of making home-made vodka on the example of age-old distiller
• will tell about architecture of age-old habitation, about that as possible to build a house without any nails, etc.

Calling at a our farmsteads you will:

• see collection wooden tubs, that collected in a barn and special tube, called “bodnya”, in which fat could lay for a year and woldn’t go off
• call at a chamber which will meet you with the heat of stove and radiance of towels
• listen to histories, related to glorious pas of Ukraine
• sit down for oak tables and will taste dishes of national cuisine, prepared in stove by ancient recipes

Duration of action: 3 hours, for each additional hour – 30 UAH per person

Cost: from 180 UAH up to 220 UAH per visitor depending on a selected menu. We offer two menus of national cuisine at your choise: “Traditional” and “Festive”.

Your order becomes actual from the moment of bringing 30% of advance. Minimal quantity of visitors – 8 persones.

It is possible to order additionally an appearance of ethnographic collectives which will add a little bit of merriments for your company with witty jokes and inflammatory songs.
