Ancient weekend – it is a remarkable occasion to find out a lot of interesting about Ukrainian national heritage. At the Savka’s Khutir you will pull into wonderful world of the pas, fill with the unforgettable impressions from staying into real Ukrainian farmsteads, and will have remember the unique taste of our varenyky.
Don’t say no to yourself in satisfaction to submerge into 18-th century and on a few hours feel yourself as a well-to-do peasant.

The best folklore groups!
- you will be meted by real traditional family weared in folk clothes with bread & salt and didukhs
- you’ll have an opportunity to see a during barn, where you will be teached how to grind flour on the 100 years old millstones
- will peep to the smithy, where smith already blows up the furs and makes burning hot duty piece of iron
- will tell about ancient traditions of process of making home-made vodka on the example of age-old distiller
- will tell about architecture of age-old habitation, about that as possible to build a house without any nails
Calling at a farmstead you will:
- see collection wooden tubs, that collected in a barn and special tube, called “bodnya”, in which fat could lay for a year and don’t go off
- call at a chamber which will meet you by the heat of stove and radiance of towels
- hear the great number of histories, related to glorious pas of Ukraine
- sit down for oak tables and will taste dishes, prepared in a stove by archaic recipes
Taste dishes from the oven
Dishes of “Traditional” menu:
- borsch with meat
- garlic donuts
- stewed potato
- potato pancakes with onion and bacon
- varenyky of two species on your choice (cottage cheese, with poppy-seeds, with cabbage, with bilberry)
- sandwiches with fat & mustard
- slightly salted cucumbers, sauerkraut, horseradish
Drinks:
- stewed fruit (non-alcohol)
- young natural wine variety “Isabella”
- homemade horilka (Ukrainian vodka) of some species on basilic, galingale and anise
Dishes of “Festive” menu:
The same dishes and drinks as in “Traditional” menu. But there are added more meat and complex dishes. Namely:
- black pudding or homemade sausage at your choice
- сabbage rolls or mushroom stuffed pancakes at your choice
We’ll arrange you a trip into exciting heritage of our land

Duration of action: 3 hours, for each additional hour – 30 UAH per person
Cost: from 180 UAH up to 220 UAH per visitor depending on a selected menu. We offer two menus of national cuisine at your choise: “Traditional” and “Festive”.
Your order becomes actual from the moment of bringing 30% of advance. Minimal quantity of visitors – 8 persones.
It is possible to order additionally an appearance of ethnographic collectives which will add a little bit of merriments for your company with witty jokes and inflammatory songs.
